FUTA ALUMNA SHINES AT ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION
Oluwaseunnla Adelusi an alumna of the Federal University of Technology Akure has been selected as one of the winners of the 2018 Goshen Fund Business Competition under the aegis of the Kingdom Summit and International Marketplace Economics and Leadership Conference. The Summit which centered on Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs incorporated a competition for budding youngsters and those interested in business startups.
Over 200 applicants from different parts of Nigeria participated in the rigorous procedure that involved an online application and follow-up interview sessions for the shortlisted applicants.
Adelusi scaled through all the procedures and emerged as the third best.
For her efforts she was selected to undergo a six months mentorship program after which she would access funds to finance her business. She was also given N125, 000 for being the 3rd best applicant.
Adelusi is a promising young lady, during her time at FUTA, she represented the University at Debate competitions, she held leadership positions and was the first girl to contest for the position of Student Union President in over a decade. She graduated amongst the top students from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department
