STUDENTS’ AFFAIRS GETS NEW DEAN A new Ag. Dean has been appointed to take over the affairs of the Students’ Affairs Division. The new Ag. Dean, Prof. Gbenga Emmanuel Onibi takes over from Prof. Boniface Kayode Alese, whose tenure expires in December, 2017 having being Dean, Students Affairs Division for 6years. The new Ag. Dean of Students, Prof G. E. Onibi, who is also an alumnus of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, is a member of the pioneering set of the Department of Animal Production and Health where he graduated with a First Class and also received the Vice Chancellor’s prize for Best Graduating Student of the 1988 set. Prof G. E. Onibi then proceeded on scholarship to the United Kingdom where he obtained both his Masters and PhD from the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen in 1992 and 1997 respectively. He became a Professor in the Department of the Animal Production and Health, FUTA in 2009. He also has a certificate in Guidance and Counselling and has served in various positions both within and outside the University amongst which includes HOD, Department of Animal Production and Health; Associate Director, CERAD; Chairman, University Examination Processing Committee etc Prof G.
